The best way to break your fast in the morning is to first drink 1 tall glass of water. Preferably room temperature. Less shocking to your system. Then to make my morning detox drink. This drink will help flush out toxins and help with inflammation and pain . This drink can be consumed throughout the day but is best first thing in the morning.

- 1 cup warm water
- 1/2 lemon juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- 1 pinch of cayenne pepper this gets your metabolism going
- 1 pinch black pepper see note below
- 1-2 drops stevia- optional

When ingesting turmeric with black pepper, you increase the amount of curcumin absorbed in your body. This helps with pain and inflammation in the body. It will also give you energy!
