Green beauty water
I call this green beauty water for many reasons. It's was my trick for many years with all the traveling I would do. It would help alkalize my body and also worked wonders for the hangovers I used to have. The magic ingredient is Spirulina. It is a green-blue algae that grows naturally in lakes, rivers, and ponds. It is rich in beta carotene and has 10 times more beta carotene than a serving of carrots. Plus you’re not getting all the sugar in it. It has Protein, Vitamins A, B, C, E & K and minerals such as copper, iron, magnesium, potassium, chromium. It helps fight infections, allergic reactions, and aids in weight loss and removes toxins from the body. Next time you have guests over serve them a pitcher of it. It will make for a good conversation. Cheers to swampy green beauty water!

Instructions
  1. Add spirulina to water and stir. Look for mint flavor spirulina. It's nice!
Recipe Notes

I typically make a small pitcher of this and drink it through out the day.

I love filling my gym bottle with it. I get a lot of questions about what is in my water.

Another way is to add spirulina to your protein smoothie.
